Size of the chandelier: The most important element to consider is the size. If not sized correctly, a chandelier will not be able to provide lighting as desired and may well not fit into its designated spot. So here`s what you need to know about sizing a chandelier.
Chandeliers are ornamental or decorative light fixtures that are used for ceiling lighting. Usually, chandeliers are centerpieces in big halls, churches, public galleries, palaces, hotels, mansions, etc. Common residential houses also have cheap chandeliers in the living room, which are simpler versions of the chandeliers, and are not as extravagant as the ones seen in public and commercial buildings. Chandeliers can be lit up with candle lights, incandescent lights and also by energy saving bulbs.
Choose a chandelier that can hang at the correct height when a table will be centered beneath it. Consider both the chandelier and the room you`re lighting: if the chandelier has bare bulbs, for example, it will need to be hung high enough to avoid glare. At the same time, if you have an 8-foot ceiling, you`ll want to avoid hanging a chandelier too high, unless you want it to look sawed off and stunted.
